After the intelligent post, comes the unintelligent one. Well not exactly unintelligent and most people won't find it very interesting as it's just something I want to get straight in my own head. Those who are interested might find it interesting though (can you tell I had shots tonight?)?

And how much is all this costing me?! Dear god I don't even want to think about it. Each con ends up at about £100 each, Midlands being the exception which is like £8 to get in. Kitacon is £158 (if I can't get anyone to split the hotel with me o_O) London Expo is like £35 for all the tickets can't remember if I paid for the rooms yet or not I have them booked, but I don't remember if I paid my dad back. Alcon is going to cost £114 then October Expo will probably be something similar. I can't keep this addiction up it's going to keeel me. And all this money is without the prices making the costumes XD Still it's fun as hell.

Well I wasn't tagged, but... Insane? Maybe... far too intelligent for her own good, stubborn and competative, but warm and fuzzy underneath lol.

17. What's better: to give or to receive?
Ignoring whatever undertones there may be... if I'm honest receiving is always nicer, but when it's an act of good will with no other reason then the fuzzy feeling is also rewarding.

18. What turns you on in the opposite gender?
Longer or shaggy hair is good on guys in my opinion... not below the shoulder though. Oh should I mention my fixation with adam's apples?

19. Is there anything you want so bad right now?
Those Ebony and Ivory replicas on ebay... I would kill for them >_<

Err meh? Writing I guess, but now is ME time :P

Yep, it'd be a pain in the butt otherwise.
 

I think I'm slightly tipsy so this post won't make much sense... my uncle bought me champagne and I've been drinking it whilst my friend blasts zombies on RE. He renamed Leon and Louis... comments constantly on Leon's emo fringe and Ashley has been shot in the head I don't know how many times, but yeah fun :D

Oh and also his little sister Lizzie was born today... uuh yesturday so it's a good day ^^

And now onto the important thing. I beat the system :P

Well sorta, but seriously I thought I was gonna get Cs and Ds I'd have been happy with 3As/A*s. But I got 6!! 1A* and 5As, then 2Bs and a C. The worse grades were, understandably, the subjects I taught myself with no tutors.

And now I can safely say my mind is made up on what to do next year, school can stick it because I'm not going back there as long as I live. So I'm going to Amersham to do my video game design course and I might do a Maths AS on the side.

I think one of the reasons I'm so happy is rubbing it in the faces of those who doubted me. Okay no one ever said they did, but my aunt's on my dad's side, dear god they're so prim and proper... in fact a conversation I overheard once was 'oh I bought a new recipie book today and just had to try one' my mother and I are standing there like wtf?!

So I guess I'm proof that if you're intelligent enough you don't have to do what everyone else does? I haven't been to school since year 8 and I'm most certainly better off for it in the end. If this had never happened I'd have never found the course, might have never even bothered to play video games at all so I'd say in the end, and it finally is the end thank god, I'm a better person because of it.

It's not a perfect score by far, but you wouldn't believe how bloody happy I am seeing as two years ago I was pretty certain I wouldn't get any.

I suck at updating this thing. I suck at blogging full stop, I either get bored or too serious or something similar. Uhm so why did I decide to update?

Oh yeah, I finished Haunting Ground and it's really good. Capcom make me feel safe too what with the 'this game contains scenes of explicit violence and gore.' I'm normally wary of horror games and the reality of my playing one because I often stop and start them and never actually finish. There's something different about HG to say RE though. Maybe that the whole point of the game is to run away? It's not too hard to get the hang of either since there's normally only 1 person following you. Still I was stuck under a bench for fifteen minutes once >_< I also like the way Fiona acts normally - as in if you were a teenage girl in a freaky castle with lodsa random people chasing you this is how you'd react. And Hewie. Hewie is so cute, I want a Hewie...

For the vast majority who don't know I've been playing DMC1 a lot lately. I finished it on hard mode a while ago and got up to Mission 12 on Dante Must Die recently. Anyway today I was running through all the DMC games on easy mode because I have nothing better to do.

AND I BLOODY SAVED A STUPID EASY MODE SAVE OVER HOURS OF SWEAT AND BLOOD GOING INTO FINISHING BLOODY HARD MODE AND HALF OF DANTE MUST DIE. 

(Not to mention all the hours of orb farming).

I have to go lie down now T_T

I was gonna say I haven't updated in a while. Well I sorta have, but I haven't said anything in a while. Blame exams, oh and my cat Iggy got hit by a car which made me rather depressed (obviously) so I didn't want to update anything for a while. But well it was a little while ago now. I reckon humans have a defence mechanism when they lose someone they love, or some humans do anyway and that's called repression right, which isn't a good thing? (And which I do a lot)... Anyway...

So I have no more exams, no more anything for the whole summer. Which is nice as I get an extra month of holiday than I normally would - and I get to rub this in my sister's face.

Now I am faced with the pressing dilemma of what to do next year. And I'd really like some outside opinion as, whilst my family has tried to help, they fail miserably at coming up with anything I haven't already thought of.

Next year I have a choice between doing A Levels and a BTEC, and this is going to be one of the toughest choices of my life. The four A Levels I would be doing are English, Maths, Biology and Film Studies. The BTEC is in E-Media and Video Game Design. So I'm gonna make a list of pros and cons of each, because I need to anyway.

A Levels:

Pros:

1) It's what everyone else will be doing and what is 'traditionally done'/more recognised.
2) It's 4 different subjects so I'm not narrowing down my options as much as if I did the BTEC.
3) The School is closer.
4) I can always go to university after getting my A Levels which make me look better to employers and then go to work on the game design.

Cons:

1) Exams at the end.
2) I would intend to go on to video game design at University and if I did I would be behind people who had done the BTEC.
3) I'm really shy and have a minor case of Social Anxiety Disorder so if there are people who are nasty/bitchy or make me feel uncomfortable it might not be good...

BTEC:

Pros:

1) I will enjoy what I'm doing (making up video game characters and modelling them).
2) The College is the only one in Europe with a green screen. (Doesn't that seem like fate?)
3) The boy girl ratio is 3/1. I need male contact and I generally prefer boys to girls.
4) As the subject is specialized people will probably like similar things to me (e.g. video games).
5) No exams.
6) There's the opportunity to do a foundation course and get a degree at the same college afterwards.
7) The software used in the foundation course is industry level. In University they use the more basic programs.

Cons:

1) It's very far away, I'd have to get up early and change buses twice.
2) I'd have to get a good PC and expensive software to do any work at home.
3) As it's all coursework I have to be super-organised and not fall behind.
4) You only need 5 Cs to do the BTEC as opposed to at least Bs for the A Levels. People I have spoken too seem to think it'd be a waste of my so called intelligence to do a BTEC.
5) Drawing is kinda important - not vitally, meaning it can be done without - but I might feel inferior because I can't draw or be hampered in what I'd like to do - character design for example.

So yeah as you can see I'm torn. I was leaning towards the A Levels, then we went to look around the BTEC college and now I'm not so sure again. I really want to work with video games, but I'm worried I'll get stuck as a programming drone when I eventually want to be involved more in the design side of it. So err opinions please? This is a super important decision and I just can't decide!

There. I only have 9 more exams left T_T 3 Physics, 1 Chemistry, 1 Biology, 1 Psychology and 2 French. Then I'm gonna sleep for ever >_< Had Chemistry and English today, I'm dyyying of exhaustion.
